Yeah it was hard to get rid of. I sold it to a lady in IL that loves it to death. She always wanted one. She just didn't have the money at the time. So, she treated herself to one that I went completely through. I mean everything worked on the car. Digital dash, Digital air, factory adj shocks, nice stereo, ran straight and true and was boosted to 10psi. Car was better than off the factory floor with it's centerforce II clutch and all.

I wish I had a warehouse so I could keep more toys.

when i first decided to buy the Z, my intention was to keep it for as long as possible...but now that i saw pictures of the new GTR...i'm not sure if i want to keep the Z for that long anymore. But then again, the only way i'll get the GTR is if i'm making 150k+ per yr.

It would be really nice to keep it until it becomes a classic, especially as it is an original 350z (ie before facelift etc). Imagine owning an original 240Z that you've had since new. But in reality I'll probably keep it for about 3 years, I can't afford to keep it as a second car that gets occasional use, I use it daily and it's quite expensive to run.

Only in america do students drive 350Z's, it's a sick world.

I plan on pulling a "Jay Leno" (who has about a million cars) and keep as many Z's as I can get a hold of.

So I'm starting my Z collection with...1. The Z33 (so...this might take some time...).

I'd love to get my hands on a Z32 in good condition, as well as the other Z incarnations from the past (like the original 240Z). It's just a dream, but ya gotta pay homage to the Z culture and tradition.

I know the attachment you all feel.... The Z has this aura that most non-Z owners will never understand or comprehend, until they're Z owners themselves.

at 60k miles i will sell it, i've had too many tranny problems to risk having one replaced out of my own pocket. I'll probably see 60k miles in about another 2 years.

Cool

I will have this car for a long time, if I ever decide to get something else in the years to come I will keep my Z parked in the garage. Its a 2006 that I paid cash for so I have no payments and I'm gonna start putting my extra cash into mods.............I love this car.
I just got rid of a truck that I bought new in 96, no one beleived that it was 10 years old. Mostly local driving and garage kept, the new Z will be getting the same treatment. So as long as I don't run into any crazy problems with it, the Z will be around for awhile.

Default Life (beyond)

Hopefully I would like to pass this car on to my child (none yet) if he/she shows responsability, else I might consider grandchildren...but I'm keeping this car until it's a classic.

There is nothing sexier than a real old convertible.

I'm always looking for "the next car". Someday, I'll eventually buy it.

For now, everytime I look at my Z, I think, "Damn! what a gorgeous car!" Everytime I drive my Z, I think, "Damn! what a fun ride!"

There is nothing I dislike about driving this car. I love the size of the steering wheel. The seats are the most comfortable I have ever been in. I love the short, stiff mechanical shifter. Perfect balance of handling/ride. Intoxicating exhaust sound. Instant throttle response. Serious head-turning factor.

I think I'll only really get another car, when I decide I want a different type of vehicle other than a 2-seater roadster
