why they keep making fwd "sports" coupes anyway...

ok, for some reason I so highly doubt that pos eclipse can even smell our cars exhaust that I don't care. they are so out of proportion and a ff car has no need for bulging rear fenders. and the plastic arch of taillight is just ghey. I hope mitsu goes bankrupt for making that car. they need carlos gsohn or whatever his name is. should of tried for a classic look like the old DSM's they were decent looking with 4wd turbo, mmm.

 

Exactly my point. It seems everyone on here seems to have their head on straight when comparing the two cars. They're just plain and simply NOT in the same CLASS, just like you guys pointed out. But of course, as you have all seen in previous pages, some particular individuals gifted with an extreme amount of blank space inside their skulls tends to think that the new Eclipse is in the same class as the Z.

The only good thing about the new Eclipse is the sound system. Its way better than the bose audio in the Z. However to me my sound system is much louder than the eclipse. It involves me rolling my windows down and revving her to hear the sweet exhaust sound. Lets see the Eclipse do that. new Eclpise

 

I'd believe the 1/4 mile time cos it's got a 3.8L, but if the eclipse really was a better sports car than the Z, then why is it COMPLETELY ABSENT from all professional circuit racing. I've never seen an eclipse in JGTC.

I loved the look of the old Eclipses, but I don't like the news ones. They look Ok from the side, almost like the Z, but they look terrible from the front or from behind.

 

I like the old ones too... the pontiac phase was pretty bad! This new one is a little funky in my opinion. Maybe by the next gen they'll get it right???

And I'm not saying the Z is perfect either, but at least it's RWD.

In either case, I suggest YOU don't try anything. I've owned you how many times now? And I'll gladly do it again with ease. Trust me on this one, young grasshopper, you haven't owned anybody, and never have. This board > you.

p.s. Maybe you can try to look up some form of schooling in one fashion or another in your area. It says NY, so I'm guessing they offer various sorts of education there. I recommend taking one of them up. You can really use it.
