I would tell the dealer to give you a FREE rental. Seems like a warranty issue to me, and an unusual one at that. Unless it's your fault (Left lights on overnight, etc).
The dealer said that Nissan doesn't provide free rental and the assistant manager was threatening me that I would have to pay for towing if the car starts on them so I told him to f*ck himself.

Thumbs down

It was the starter that was causing the car not to start. But I have more problem now. The service manager believes that my clutch and flywheel are scorched and told me that they are not covered under warranty. Plus they said that they are scorched from me abusing my car but I rarely take my car above 4000 rpm. So I called the district manager for consumer affair and she's telling me the same thing that I have to pay out of my pocket. I don't know who to go to for help. Isn't it common sense that no matter what you do to your car, clutch and flywheel shouldn't be burnt after 3000 miles?

Unhappy

I'm really impressed that he was able to hook up to the internet on his laptop and post his request for help regarding his problem. If I came out of the auto parts store after 15 minutes and my Z would not start, I'd probably be more inclined to use my internet connection (if I had one) to hook up with a local Nissan dealership for assistance. But you never know, I guess there are some folks out there that don't mind waiting for a response on our trusty little forum for one of us to lend some advice.
