anyone else ever heard of this?
When i floor it, the brake light comes on. I have to come to a complete stop before it will go off.
I have shaken the brake handle and it's not the brake handle engaging the light.

 

This happend to me about a month ago. For me, the reason why the light came on was due to my brake pads, they had to be replaced...they were literally grinding on my rotors. If your pads are fine, then I suggest you check your brake fluid.

Does VDC apply the brakes a bit? Could be that VDC was triggered and along the lines of what Sig said.

 

Happened to me too...I could make it go off by slowing down a tad then flooring it again. My problem was low brake fluid...As your pads get low there is less fluid in the reservoir and it sets off the light.
