i read one 911 owner was talking about the Nissan's fit, finish and reliability issues........and one made fun of the Z's door handles and being ricey....

Well, at least the Z wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to maintain and a Z owner saves at least 50 grands and it turns just as many heads if not more.....

Well you have to ask yourself how many 17 year olds own a 50k+ car. Sure there are the lucky few that parents will buy them whatever, but the majority of people have to work for what they get. On a side not, I really dont see anything wrong with what the Porsche guys were saying. I mean the Z is a 29-40k car and cannot be stock for stock on par with a Porsche.

I Civic is not a 350Z, A 350Z is not a Porsche. Class is dismissed.

I like the 911's a lot. But for the money I'd rather have a totally customized, one of a kind 350Z than spending it all on a stock 911.

So one passanger in each car would make 4 people. Where the hell did the other guy come from. What they strapped him on the roof?

Nevermind, you could be right, I searched for totaled cars pics to compliment the porsche accident someone posted and came across that link. Who knows if it's true.

BTW everyone, can we stop starting threads about how Maxima/Eclipse/Sentra/911 or other owners do not like Zs? It is a pretty stupid thing to do. There are many who love Pontiac Aztec too, and would rather have that than a Z. Should we start a thread on them as well?

This has got to be one of the most ignorant comments I have ever heard. I would love to have a 993. One of if not the best Porsche generations out there.

I'd like to add some ignorant comments before some ignorant members do.

1. Let's take them to the twisty and...

2 We spent less. Add a twin turbo and ...

EDIT: My bad, the 911 isn't midship is it?
I don't know my 911 numbering all that well but this was a four wheel drive turbo that did not seem that old.

Someone was saying that this particular year was back heavy (I thought they all were but maybe they meant even more so) and "was great to drive up until things broke free and after that you better be a professional or it would show you who's boss."

I am so fricken sick of people sayin 350z stole lines from this or that... I think most stole lines off the old 240's i have a 240 sitting right next to my 350 and the resemblence is amazing! the roof line everyting from the 350 uses small parts of all the z's... to me the 350 looks like a bad *** 240 with a wide body on it and even more sleek. the 350 looks like nothing else on the road as far as im concerned. every person who sees it say wow ! what kind of car is that ect ect.

I picked a 350Z over a 330Ci because it reminded me more of the 911. I'm the hugest Carrera fan in the world, and I think that if just by coincidence, the 350Z does resemble a 911 in some aspects. It's not a bad thing. My dad still has a 280ZX 1982, and if the cars are next to each other, you can really see certain details that have been kept.

Actually I did not post my comments on the Porsche forum. I just replied through e-mail to a friend of mine and he, the instigator, went ahead and post my comments to him on the Porsche forum. I wouldn't mind driving a Porsche either, but at the current price is just not worth it (unless I win the Lotto ......)

LOL, that's so funny. I am one of the very few that does not like the way the porche 911 looks and I bought the 350Z. I hope people don't think the 350Z's lines look like the 911 because I don't like their lines. The only porche lines I do like is the Boxster and the new Carrera GT because they both don't have the 911 lines.

I nearly bought a Boxter before discovering a major service costs £2000. Porsche can shove that.
