yeah, they seem like normal folk to me, no use stirring things up.
In my opinion the lines of the Z are nothing like the 911. The Zs nose is too blunt the back too flat. They are entirely different cars, I like the guy who said "they both have four wheels."
On the other hand, this is a pic of a 911 that was fifty feet behind my Z on Pine Flat road on Saturday, after I finished the next turn and was in a short straight I was thinking "Oh man, he should have been right about there" but he never came around. Sad

what kind of car were you driving?
That is a little surprising, every porsche owner I have met in person has had nothing but nice things to say about my car; I guess they respect what it is for the price even though their cars are obviously much better.

How about two 17 year old girls driving a Lamborghini Murcielago and a Ferrari Enzo? Just 'cause the car is expensive doesn't mean it won't find itself somehow in the hands of younger people: http://www.angelfire.com/wa3/daily_article/

EDIT: My bad, the 911 isn't midship is it?
I have(in family to be precise) a tiptronic 911 (996) cabriolet. drove it extensively and love it.
But I prefer my 6mt 350z, lol. (seriously)
Also had ****load of problems with the 911. Build quality is nowhere near what some people would lead you to believe. (still have a few right this moment)
As for the 350z copying the flared fenders of the 911... I wasn't aware porsche invented flared fenders...

To the thread starter: If you read that thread closely, you will notice that many members there were also saying that Z is very well-styled and a great car. Worrying about 911 owners' Z views is like complaining that Enzo owners say 911s do not look "futuristic" enough. Both are ridiculous comments. Different cars for different cutomers/price segments.
BTW everyone, can we stop starting threads about how Maxima/Eclipse/Sentra/911 or other owners do not like Zs? It is a pretty stupid thing to do. There are many who love Pontiac Aztec too, and would rather have that than a Z. Should we start a thread on them as well?

Hey Zlleh that link you posted was really stupid. It said 2 17 yr old girls had 3 passangers with them. 3??? Am I missing something. Isn't the Enzo and Murcielago both 2 seaters like the Z. So one passanger in each car would make 4 people. Where the hell did the other guy come from. What they strapped him on the roof?
