I am surprised the Miata is so low. Maybe because they were getting ready to release a new one?

The Corvette number did not surprise me. Owning a Corvette is like part of the American Dream for many (those and Harleys). It is not surprising that once a man has raised his family and paid off his house that he finally buys the car he has been dreaming about since he was old enough to drive. Plus once he is 50, he can finally afford the insurance on the thing.

The Z number was a bit of a surprise because here in OHIO I see a lot more Porsches and even Ford Gts than I do Zs. (yes I know where there are 3 Ford GT owners within less then 10 miles of my house).
