I traded my modded Evo for my Z. You wont be disappointed. It might not have the turbo pull, but it rides like it's on rails. Especially with the Nismo suspension and sways!

Default Gt-r

Yea, I agree Jenna350z. Love my Z. If goin to change it for anything it will be the Skyline or GT-R. Til then, the Z will be around.

Nice choice. I too was in love with the raw edge of the STI and EVO, but in terms of driving pleasure they just don't quite stack up (that is unless your on an auto x course)

Definetely not the most sexy or comfortable way to get around when compared with the Z.

You're going to have some fun with RWD

it can lose conrol if u push it too hard of course all the power is coming from the rear, especially on water be careful if u turn off traction.

Yes it can get sideways as a result of the good amount of torque it has. The Z is very linear in terms of oversteer in my opinion. It won't snap around like say a RX7. It reminds me alot of my old 96 supra, very linear, easy to control when it stepped out. Have some fun with it

You want to learn the limits of the car early on so if you are put into a situation where those limits come on you fast, you know how to control the car. RWD can be scary if not dealt with

i would think this is true with any car stacking solid hp/torque if you don't know
what you are doing. i always make it a habit when driving a new car to test the
limits thoroughly. the limits of the car and the limits of the tires. in general you
need to find the breaking point of your tires under certain conditions and just
what kind of maneuverability is achievable with your setup. i would say the Z
can be a beast in terms of torque and weight. it's your job to tame it.

when i first got my Z I decided to open it up one day and nailed it in left turn in
an intersection and i could feel the rear swing wide but i was able to correct it.
one thing you should do if you haven't is learn about throttle steering, etc. in
terms of what happens to momentum as you brake and accelerate. it's a very
important technique to learn.

the key is to take it slow and learn your car. otherwise you will be posting the
day after getting it from the dealer that its wrapped around someone's tree.
