need to find the breaking point of your tires under certain conditions and just
what kind of maneuverability is achievable with your setup. i would say the Z
can be a beast in terms of torque and weight. it's your job to tame it.

when i first got my Z I decided to open it up one day and nailed it in left turn in
an intersection and i could feel the rear swing wide but i was able to correct it.
one thing you should do if you haven't is learn about throttle steering, etc. in
terms of what happens to momentum as you brake and accelerate. it's a very
important technique to learn.

the key is to take it slow and learn your car. otherwise you will be posting the
day after getting it from the dealer that its wrapped around someone's tree.

haha. so true. i had a miata as my first rwd car and i thought i could handle the
thing. decided to take a curve hard and throttled up. threw my car across the
road and slid into a ditch at 1 in the morning. was moving so fast even got grass
stuck between the wheel and tires! and yes, four flat spotted tires! an expensive
lesson but one i never forgot.
