If you are good with a soldering iron and can find the right parts, you can change the color yourself. I will be doing mine in blue.

Amber is easier on the eyes than blue, esp. at night and long drives. Audi uses red, and that's worse! I wouldn't change the color even if I could... however, the new Mustang GT's optional 100+ light color combinations is very cool!

Very True!

I have my interior lights turned to the lowest setting before they go out when i drive... It makes the road light up more this way... with brighter interior lights, the road doesnt light up as well... I cant drive a car with bright interior lights at night...

If im in the canyons at night, i some times even turn off the interior lights completely!

I prefer amber...

Couldn't agree with you more. BMW is the same.

I remember when the Z33 was going into final design .. went from amber to green (bad) and then back to amber -- so easy to see and sooo easy on the eyes.

if you search the lighting forums Acree replaced all his lights in the gauges with red ones. so just search for threads started by Acree and you should be able to find it. theres detailed instructions as well as reasons why red was the only logical color to do.
