TT was the mistake nissan made with the z32! TT is too expensive. Just because the Skyline is most likely TT does not mean the Z will be. I think Nissan learned from the Z32, and to keep the heritage of a high performance sport car that is affordable (almost cheap), nissan will most likely not go TT.

the dealer near me said that they are coming out with a new model called the 250z which will be a 2.5 liter turbo in 2007 and the fully loaded model will be less than $25,000. this is not replacing the 350z, just another model. this is not a joke or made up, just what they told me.

they should just stick with the V6 and just add some extra horses...people supe it up all over the place anyway...it doesn't have to start out with like 400 horsepower for it to be great...we'll add the horsepower we need...i don't want a $50000 Z to come out

Agreed. I personally like being able to afford a car that I love to drive. 400hp would be great but 350hp out of a v6 would be fine with me. No matter what they give us people will always say it isn't enough.

i could be in the minority but i personally want a 40-45k Z to come out.
the reason being is if the GT-R turns out to be over 70K then the next gen Z is what i am getting, i want it to be a considerable step up from my current Z. not just a newer refinded version of what i already have.
if they go FI then they should still keep a 30K NA Trim level to keep it affordable as the Z always has been. but i would love to see a $45K+ Z to make its a little more exclusive than it is now. it is supposed to take on the cayman you know according to that interview!

Ive hard alot saying that supposedly nissan is coming out with a 240sx type car again but more sporty.
as for the Z, ill be pissed if they use a v8, changes the character of the car.

I'm hoping for a slightly faster and higher revving NA V6 6MT...ugh...please don't go the TT oem route again Nissan...--barf to the Z32 flop. The Datsun 280Z did it right, and the Z33 Nissan did it right again; well balanced coupe V6 NA that went for less money but aim'd for the Porsches of their era. V8? mehh...if it's NA i might be less biased against it, since it's necessary to step up it's game against the Porsche Carrera 8-cylinder 997 chassis to date.

Actually what I mean was the next year 2007 Z, not the the gen.
Then next gen needs more like 400lbs off, a wider stance, and ~350HP.
Perphaps rickdogg can lend them his carbon fiber panels.
