He's wondering about the next Z. The GT-R has nothing to do with the Z other than they are both made by Nissan.

I dont think the Z should go V8. Its needs to go back to its turbo configuration. Maybe a mini-me of the skyline. I really think that the GTR should be above 450 hp. Thats not enough in my opinion. If the GTR is coming out with a TT Vq pushing 450 that doesnt really leave to much room for improvement for the Z.
Im totally against the V8 concept. Like the saying goes...Turbo, the replacement for displacement.

Unless it is really drop dead gorgeous I wont entertain the idea of buying it. I have my eyes locked on the GT-R and since I'm keeping my current Z since its too modded to trade-in I dont need 3 somewhat impractical sportscars lol. Plus witht he GT-r being the beast that it is you wouldnt want to go back to driving just a stock Z

At this point all you will get is rumors and speculation. To early to know anything about the next generation. Heck, the GT-R has been shown at he car show and we still are not 100% sure if it is turbo'ed or not. To try to guess the details of a next generation Z is more like just making a wish list for Nissan in hopes they read it.
