Can you just TT the stock NA or do you have to build up the engine... I always assumed the stock NA wasn't as strong as the stock TT; is that correct?
It is not just the motor, some people do swaps but it is very involved, a lot of systems, it is better to buy a TT.

u can run very low boost but to TT it right you need to get new pistons which lows the compression ratio to 8.5 to 1

And it it very involved, but most of us have it down to a science. The support newtork of info and manpower for a 300zx is huge. About a 12 people or so swap or rebuild the vg to a TT every year, there are engine builders that specifically do TT. We have one specific engineer that designed a new ecu so that the car would perform to its peak and is easily diagnosable with a Palm Pilot.

All and all I do love my car, but I really think that I am going to get the 350, what I will do the 300 is stick up in the air.
