I HATE YOU, Zquicksilver!!! That is the funniest thing I've ever read on this board. Now I won't be able to go to sleep for hours b/c I'll be laughing every few minutes. Now I will never look at my boxer the same way. Every time she takes a shiat, I will see a baby blue Crossfire!

Hey all-if anyone's still looking at this.
Sorry for bumping an OLD thread, but I always feel the need to correct misinformation when I see it.
First issuerice.
Not such a big deal when you consider that you are buying a slightly better (lighter, firmer suspension) SLK 32 AMG-often regarded as the most out and out fun car AMG has ever made.
Track performance:
While the '6 is indeed slower than a Z in the corners (.91 vs .96), they are no slouch-and make up for it in the straight.
See the Road and Track article in which it beats out a Nismo S-tune Z and a Boxter S around willow springs.
http://www.roadandtrack.com/article.asp?article_id=1985
They run 13 flat in the 1/4-I can't think of many cars for that price that will do that out of the box.
I am in the mid 12s with just a pulley swap and CAI-adding a tune on top gets that figure into the high 11s typically.
Anyway, not everyones taste I know-but a little respect where it's due.
350s aren't MY taste, but I respect them as a good performance bargain in their sector.

A viper is basically a race car thats legal on the street. I really wouldn't suggest it as your daily driver at all. No Traction Control mechanism at all its basically built to be driven by experienced drivers on the track.

Well, as long as no one is arguing that they are slower, that's all I'm after.
Can't ask someone to like the look of something-they do or don't. As for "girly",
I don't see it.
The SRT gets "manned up" quite a bit visually-just as long as you choose the right color!

Thank you Jet.
I'm not a spoiled brat, just because my mom pays for my car.
I've worked part time through high school and college for 4 years. I've taken off of work since 2003 and I'm right now I'm going to graduate school on loans. I'm 23.
I hate people who are real spoiled brats just as much as you do...
Just don't confuse me with one of them.

People often mistake me for one just because I've never had a job, and my parents payed for my car and twin turbo.
But my nextdoor neighbor calls me a good kid which means im not spoiled
