One of the rules of indecisiveness:

If you can't make up your mind between multiple choices, maybe they are all so acceptable that it doesn't matter which decision is made.

So in this case, all the colors you're considering are so good, just relax, throw a dart, and buy.

A quick tip: if after you throw the dart and open your eyes you're disappointed in the where it landed, you know which color to pick.

i've been having the same issues with color. Im very close to being ready to buy, and im having a hard time picking a color. I've been thinking of the SS, but i just stopped by the local dealer, and they have a DB in. DAMN that blue looks nice. The more i looked at it the more i liked it. But something about me says go with the SS cause its less of a "stand out" color. I would probably by the DB at my dealer today, if it was an Enthu. or a Performance. Its a touring and i cant justify the extra cost for leather when leather isnt that big of a deal to me. Now if the dealer would sell it to me for the cost of an Enth (equiped the same) i'd do it... hmm maybe i should give them a call.

Well, from all that rambling, if you havent guessed, i say DB.

Now, if I could get a Track for $891 over invoice, then I'd definitely do it, but I don't really like leather whatsoever, and I'm gonna do my own stereo, so a Touring is not an option for me, unless it as free or something (nice run-on sentence)

After a 4 state drive home, I might change the stereo out myself. The Blose is very disappointing, which was one of the reasons I was wanting to go Performance to begin with.

Oh well.

Personally I think Blue & Silver are the nicest. If you live in the city though, Blue might be too much of a key magnet. I think SS is very classy and subtle, not too flashy (the best don't advertise). Black is sweet, but too hot for L.A. I think the remaining colors appeal to those that only have a particular affection for them.

Uh, I know. If you read my post, I was explaining why I wouldn't get a Touring model even if it was $891 over invoice.

Well, I'm sure you've all been hanging on the edge of your seats awaiting my final decision (yeah, right) so, without further delay, (drum roll......)

Daytona Blue it is!

I went back down to a dealership yesterday that coincidentally had a Redline sitting next to a Daytona Blue, and in person, the DB is just overwhelming.....such a gorgeous color.

Thanks to all that gave their input....it was appreciated.

Default Don't mean to confuse you more

Dlovtsur, are you from Michigan(south east Michigan?) just curious what dealership did you went to checkout these cars. Have you decided to preorder or do an existing purchase?

I have seen a DB at a dealer located at Canton,MI, the car was sitting outside instead of being wax-shine in the showroom. The DB sitting outside was not as attractive as I thought, maybe it was not clean, thus doesn't have that shineness to it; but if you have ever seen photos of Skidazzle's DB track, you will be in love with DB.

I am in the same delima as you were in, my color debate are between CS, DB, PPW and Redline....so I am in a worser situation than you are. I was able to eliminate a few other colors....I currently have a black Z32TT, so no more black cars. I am not too attracted to the darker shade of silver(SS), although it does show the lines on the Z very well. The LS and BR are unique color, but does not fit my personal style.
Did you say that you had own red color vehicle previously? if so, DB is probably better. And it looks like you did decide on DB.

Regards,
Mickey

No, I live on Long Island. Atlantic Nissan in West Islip has about 22 cars on the lot as we speak. I've seen all the colors in person on a number of occasions, so my decision has definitely had it's fair amount of color exposure. I've seen the DB both inside and out....granted the one I saw inside initially, was drop dead beautiful, but the one I saw outside was just as eye-catching as the one inside. My previous car was Alpine White....a true white. The white (PPW) on the Z does nothing for me whatsoever. I'm not a fan of metallic or pearl whites....they look dirty to me.
