Does anyone esle have a problem with the rear view. You cant see crap except from your side mirrors. Am I just whinning or does everyone else think the same. I know its a sports car I should get over it, but I have to watch out for cops

I hadn't really had a problem, but I've only had my car 3 days! It's only slightly more limited in the blind spot area than my previous car, also a 2-door coupe. You can adjust your mirror to cover most of the blind spot. I have no real problem seeing directly out the back, though.

Drive safely!

I don't really have that much of a problem with the rear view, but it takes a bit of getting used to on the blind spots.

How tall are you? Maybe that has something to do with it.

Yeah, the view is limited out the back. But the sideview mirrors are so much better than I thought that, overall, I'm happy with the views out. ....... based on two days and 100 miles or so.

I concur...... rear window visibility is lacking, however the side mirrors are great.

Considering the size of the back light, the view is somewhat limited. I have tried adjusting my seat but am unable to improve my view. The rear view does not bug me much tho as I have learned to compensate with side view rather easily after 1 week.

Justa note more... I guess it is the price we pay for having an absolutely fantastic Coefficient of drag... and that low drag being designed so perfectly into a motor vehicle is worth most inconveniences.

Get a Broadway Mirror, and or wide angle mirrors.

Don't any of you buy a NISMO spoiler. .

It cuts right through the middle of the rear view.

my problem with the back view is that it is angled down, I can see, but only maybe 20 feet behind me, and then it cuts off. tought to see whos behind you. but yeah, the side mirrors get the job done. and now with the 5% tint back there, it dont matter anyway, I cant see much.

The best way to deal with the rear-view is to accelerate through holes in the traffic.

The only time I look in the rear view is when I'm doin' double-digits to look for porky....

Strangely enough, I was in Advanced Auto a couple of days ago, and saw some mirrors that mount to the interior windshield with suction cups near the driver door that are wide angle, and are supposed to eliminate blind spots. I've seen them in some of the upscale car accessory catalogs for $30 or so, but these were only $3. I started to get one, but figured it would annoy me. For $3, though, I may try it yet.

EDIT: This was what I saw. Anybody used one?

I don't know what the problem is, I can see all three lanes... (OK, maybe I'm cheating a bit, as the camera is a few inches from my head...)

I am 6'4" so I think that doesn't help either. I was not even able to see above the bumper of the car behind me till I realized that you can improve the view quite a bit by tilting it up so that half of the field of view is used up looking at the roof of the Z, that tilt really helps see much further behind you.
