hey all,

only an hour ago i realized that a little kitten is stock somewhere in the gap behind the the right headlight,i think because i hear its cry. i drove to the gas station next to my house, but they could not do anything. its mother is setting next to the tire mewing for its baby and i don't know what do. any idea? i know its probably a first time u hear of such a thing.

Pull your wheel off and remove the few clips holding in the wheel well cover and pull it off.

 

...and watch out for the Momma, too. She might not necesarily think you are trying to help the little one.

Aww that's actually kinda cute! The mother meowing for its kitten sitting right next to the tire!

But seriously... turn the tire *all the way* to the right or left (I can't remember) so you can see the "lining" next to the wheelwell and you have room to work with. Get in there and pull it back with your hands.. you might have to tug at it a bit, but don't worry.. it's okay. The kitten should be there somewhere. I know because this is actually one of the steps you have to do in order to remove your front bumper. Let me know if you need more help.

Don't drive around with the animal in there, man! Curiosity really might kill that cat otherwise (that, and the heat).

 

Get it out by taking off the bumper. The heat from the engine... yikes!

Yeah, the fire department wouldn't know what to do. Just remove the front bumper.. you're gonna have to do it sooner or later anyway because you have to remove the kitten.. dead or alive.

 

+1000....remove it! Its really easy! Think of as research for a future upgrade on a new bumper!

Are you sure the kitten came stock or was it an option? I don't have one on my '03... Sorry; couldn't resist...

 

Cat is a factory option in the Untied States, but comes stock in Europe. I thought everyone knew that.
