Default Pics of my Fox Damaged Z

In addition to the obvious damage......you'll notice that just beneath my watch is a crack on the fascia that goes up and continues through the black slats that fill the grill opening.....I just got the Nismo Fascia this week (currently sitting in Skidazzle's garage) so as soon as I can get it painted and get the LED lenses installed I'll be a much happier Z owner.

in that last pic, the little white line beneath the reflector is a small bit of fur.....still stuck in the bumper.

In retrospect, I should kept the fox (what was salvagable atleast) and made a shifter boot or sterring wheel cover or something out of it....

this last pic is through the window at my new seats......sorry about the bad pics....I just snapped them in the parking lot outside my office.....work is slow today.

info b4 anyone asks (if you didn't my posts in appearance forum)....mirror tint 35%, black leather seats with suede inserts and contrasting stitch. And some silly guy , bored at work.

Better the fox than the ditch. Sorry about the damage, though.

I hit a big black dog one dark cloudy night one time on a narrow two lane road in an 89 IROC. Rammed the fog light all the way up the intake, and something bloody like a leg left bloody hair in the middle of my window where it bounced over. I think the damage was like $600, but it was better by far than the deep ditch beside the road.

Yikes! That damage is harsh Glad you went with the Nismo front - I'm sure it'll look amazing!

Nice tint, nice seats, and nice silly guy

ROADKILL!!

Jeez, how big was the fox?? I feel bad for the fox and the Z... but at least you already have the Nismo kit to replace the damaged front bumper.

Approx 16-18 inches in length......not sure how tall at the shoulder......he wasn't real cooperative as far as standing up for measurements.

I ordered the Nismo piece to repair the damage so it wasn't like..."Well, atleast I have this coming" it was more like..."!@#$#@!, guess if I'm going to get it fixed I may as well spend a lot more and get what I want the first time....."

It's a good thing the factory replacements don't cost much (I priced at $230ish) because I'm sure we will see a lot broken, it's not very thick or durable, seems to break pretty easily. I wish the Nismo piee was 230 dollars.

I'll just be glad to have it fixed, I hit the poor fox the night before Thanksgiving......

Thanks,

After I posted the pics I was reminded of your toboggin......and was SO glad I had taken mine off and left it in the office. It made me smile.

What is the latest on your hood dent/scratch?

heh, after reading this thread it made me think of that video of the GT race where a rabbit runs in front of a CLK GTR (i think) and literally vanishes as the front air dam of the CLK departs in the wind... anyone seen it?

I have had recent damage to my Z although it was from a cat. My baby is on the body shop now. Yes, before you asked, i did cry (for my Z, screw the cat). My damage was a vertical crack up the bumper beside the reflector and the fender on the side of the damage was bent (you should make sure to check that out on your car).
