Default 211.1 hp and 391.9 torque???

i just dynoed my car today on a mustang dyno and i dynoed 211.1 hp and 391.9 torque and yes i mean 391.9. I know it's not right but why is it so far off? Whats the deal? Any help would be much appreciated.

Please scan and post the chart. Without seeing the chart, any comments are just a guess.

it was a 4th gear pull. I'm not really that concerned with how much hp and torque i making at the moment, i just did it for fun. But now i want to find another dyno and test it to see what the hell is wrong. i have a pop charger and evo 2 exhaust.

Try to find a shop that uses ''Dyno Jet''

You'll get better information!

The dyno wasn't setup right. A dynojet will give you roughly 10% more. A mustang is more for tunning.

it's obvious to the casual observer that the dyno wasn't set up correctly. you should have asked for your money back. those numbers are so far off, i would have laughed at them.

Maybe all the techs were busy , so they let the custodian set up your Dyno

Try Dyno Jet...

If you throw those #s in the formula for HP it shows there's something wrong. I'm guessing the weight of something was wrong.

That would be a diesel turbo from Nissan’s commercial line. Cool.

dude, take it back and have em do it again.. what a waste of time and money.
If that was a correct reading you should be doing 1/4 in about 11 sec.

the hp reading seem low too.

From what I can see with your chart your weight was off and you dynoed in the wrong gear. In the 350Z the 5th gear is the 1.1 not 4th. You have to add weight for fuel and passenger. If you have a full take of gas you would add about 168lbs and you would add 160lbs for a driver. To bring your total weight to around 3500lbs. This might help!!
