Drive my G for a day, and you'd understand!!!

 

My friend in his SE-R Altima, just hit a possum 2 weeks ago. Missed up his front and lost control of his car and tailed into a divider. Missed up his front and back over a damn stupid possum.

 

I hit a pretty big racoon in my 05 z, and it caused about $3100 in damage because it damaged the core supports for the radiator and the ac condenser. It actually took out part of the radiator as well. Before the insurance company checked, I thought it was only going to be ~$1000, because it looked like only the bumper got mashed. I would advise getting it checked out.

 

I think someone needs to post a pic of these possoms so us Northern folk can see what they look like. How big do they get? I thought they were just rat sized animals.

 

Know how you feel Cessna, I was down on 10 in New Mexico, passing a JB Hunt truck when he hit a skunk and it smeared down the side of my 240sx. Worse thing was trying to get the sunroof closed before any more smell got in the car. Like to never found a car wash that late at night. Spent nearly an hour just soaking and scrubbing the car.

 

I ran over a dead deer(it was crushed by some semi), the crunching sound was worst than smell, luckly i had no dammage.

 

As soon as I hit the damn thing, the smell made its way into the cabin.... I feel your pain!!!

On a better note, What year is your 240? The first MT I ever drove was my dad`s (back then new) 240SX......

I love my dog! She kills possums and brings them to me. Misha the possum killer. She has gotten a couple of birds too.



I just missed a semi's spare tire in the road yesterday. Had I hit that thing it would have totalled my car. I am so glad this car handles so well. The tire was spinning like a top still. It was weird.

I counted my lucky stars yesterday.

 

try hitting a cat the smell of tuna was all over my leather...............

 

Have a 95 and a 97 both are sxse's in auto. The 97 is in storage till I can start redoing it after one of my daughters trashed it.

Here's video of a bird bringing down a Canadian military trainer in May 2004. You can see the bird right before it's ingested. Pilot and student were forced to eject. Instructor suffered a broken leg. The camera runs right up to ground impact. Yikes.

possums are about the size of "your" groundhogs
