my '04 rattled in the center gauge cluster, the passenger door, and the plastic thing behind the seats. When I took it in to the shop to have the alignment fixed (recall from the summertime) I just told them to check out the rattles. Got the car back and it was sooo quiet inside, which was a first haha. I looked at the right up on the repairs, and what they did was put foam inside the dash and doors. Seems like that would work just fine, and it did. All this was covered under the warranty, along with my brand new transmission that happened to die on the mechanic while it was in the shop. Pretty nice getting a car back thats partially brand new for $0

 

I would love to have all the rattles fixed, but I am afraid that the local dealer will tear up my car. I don't really trust dealer mechanics.

 

yeah, i was thinking about fixing them myself but i think im gonna let the dealer take a crack at it.

 

i was told that after 12,000 miles the warrenty wont cover rattles is that true......the guy i talked to at the shop was a douche had to wait like 25 min just to get some one to say somthin to me...then they wanted $90 to look at it....my dash rattles my gauges do when i go over bumps and my window has bad wind noise going over 70 mph...which is frequently for me..

 

I shove my wallet in the left corner between the window and the dash. Works like a charm, and I never forget to leave my wallet in the car.
