yeah!.....i just had mine fixed under warranty last week...the mechanic was top notch. He actually got rid of the damn rattle in my 03 dash(behind the gauges). The rattle started just this past summer in Reno.

So if my interior gets a bad rattle and is still under warranty they will fit it? I hate rattles.

My 03 Z is rattleless now and very tight. It took awhile but I have fixed all the noises in my Z. Just fixed the last one this weekend. Put RoadKill in trunk area also; now you can hear a pin drop at 60 MPH. No tire noise, no wind noise, no nothing; just sweet silence now. It should have come this way from the factory.

jomaxum, what did you put in there to get rid of all the rattles? some sort of dynamat material?

I've never taken the interior panels off the car... how big of a headache would it be to do this? I don't want to risk breaking any clips on the panels and causing more rattles than I fix...

Thanks

I believe that there’s a TSB for the 2003 dash rattle. I can’t remember where I read that TSB, but it said that the rattle that appears to be heard behind the dash is actually caused by the plastic covering on the rear view mirror steam. Their fix was to add a sticky foam piece between the covering and steam. I use to get that dash rattling sound, but I messed with that small insignificant black plastic piece and it’s now gone. Werd.

I also have the rattle, thinking that it was caused by loose
wires from my Pioneer N-2 install, I guess not =/

yep i have the same dash rattle on my 05,(2 months old), and the door popping, its going back to the dealer next week for a hopeful fix, sounds like its coming from the airbag area in the passenger dash (left side over here )
