Put your seat all the way back and raise the adjustable steering wheel higher first. Lowering the clutch height will give you another inch or so.

I can get the car moving from standstill just by using my clutch,
fully released without pressing gas!!!!!!
I tried so many times to stall the car, and it looked like it was
going to die due to no gas input, but when the clutch was fully released
it still kept on going!!!
Mind you the ground was completely FLAT.
Only time I managed to stall the car was when I actually had
my break pressed on firmly while releasing the clutch.

man WHAT THE HELL
Try this when your engine is hot and your idle is low.

En-GLaived, is your 06's clutch also light? I believe they installed the
latest clutch on mine, and it was pretty damn light clutch.
I just got my clutch replaced too, and it's light as hell. I kept asking if that was normal, but they just shrugged. I didn't really push it becuse they had had my car for a week and a half, and I just wanted it back so I could install my antisway bars that had been sitting around for a week.

But the day after I got it back, I powershifted into 2nd at only 4k, but it slipped like a @$#% when I floored it, whereas before it would chirp the tires and go. I could smell burning clutch after that, and needless to say I was pretty pissed, but I haven't been able to reproduce it. So I'm not sure if it was just a fluke, or break-in, or what. I've never heard of break-in on a clutch though? As far as I know, they just get worn more and more until it's time to get a new one.

My seat is lowered to the floor and all the way back. My steering wheel is on the highest setting and I still bump my knee when shifting.

Im one of the "lucky ones" that had to have a new tranny and clutch put in my '03. It was like learning how to drive all over again when getting it back. I have to let the clutch almost all the way out...on the flip side, my car has never seemed quicker.

When I drive with my left foot on the kick plate, do I steer with my right foot?

Sometimes I think my clutch is engaging at different points and my shifts are not smooth. Is this what you are experiencing?

Basically it engages like an inch or half inch before it's fully released.
Does that sound about right for stock? When I first got the car engagement
point was still damn high, but I don't remember being this high.
How are your stock engagement points?

Any way to lower the engagement point?
I've already read the thread about turning the **** on the pedal,
but it seems like it only adjusts the pedal, not the engagement point itself.
FWIW, mine was way high after the tranny was replaced at 6800 miles. I took it back in @ 8k miles and they adjusted the disengagement point back down toward the floor. The dealer wouldn't buy into the idea at first and so we went out to the lot and got into a new Z. Big diff. It's not perfect, but much better. I've tried various seating postions. I still occasionally pop the damn thing from 1st to 2nd.

There is a range of adjustment as specified by Nisaan, however, I was told it's not a whole lot. The dealer would not adjust mine beyond this "window". As I was told; apparently many Z drivers don't take the pedal all the way to the floor and Nissan thought that could be one of the contributing factors to early clutch/transmission problems. Oh, and I wasn't charged for the adjustment........

I just bought a 2003 2 days ago and last night engaged the clutch from a stop 100 times to get a good feel for it. It engages about half way without a doubt.

i just adjusted my clutch last night, according to the thread that was linked to above...

it took about 10 minutes. the only hard part was fitting down in there to make the modification. anyhow, my clutch is about even with the brake pedal... SO much easier to drive now!

NO!!!! Keep your right foot on the floor. Steer with your hands.
