wow... what a retard. The reason they put it is so he doesnt race or speed excessively, and ur trying to justify street racing and speeding excessively because its part of a "guys nature". By the sounds of it, his parents just bought him a 350z, and he didnt work or do anything to actually earn it, and until then, he hasnt "earned" the right to speed excessively and street race in his daddy's car.

It's time for some new wheels. Stick on a set of over sized tires so your speedo reads at a lower speed

65 is dangerously slow to be on the freeway with.

Man that sucks. Sorry to hear.

If you drive 65 around here in NY/NYC you'll get run off the road.

Not sure how you figure finding it is going to help your situation. If it is a real device in your car don't you think it'll let him know if you disconnect it?

Sounds like BS though. Why have an alert at 65mph? You'd do much more damage at 50 in a 25mph zone, which is what most kids your age end up doing. And the speed liimits in most places is 70 anyway.

But if he didn't trust you why would you have a Z?

We've all been young and we all know how teenagers drive. I honestly think every young driver should have this no matter what they drive. Too many kids die these days because of driving habits not not enough experience behind the wheel to be driving at high speeds. 65mph is still fast enough to enjoy your car and its still fast enough to get you killed.

It's human nature to kill ourselves. So just let them do it. I am in no way worried about my driving. I have never had anything close to an accident being my fault in my 5 years of driving, it's the other morons out there that I can't stand. YTou have to drive defensively to make it out alive, especally in a bigger city. I almost get hit atleast 3 times in any given day, but it's my driving skills that keeps the other idiots from hitting me. We all were teenagers once, and we all have driven too fast once, it's human nature, your never going to stop that.

I forget what its called, they asked me when I ordered my Z if I wanted it on my car, I said, "**** no!". I think Lojack? It shows where you have been going, how fast you were going, and gives times and dates, I hear that women get it installed to see where their men are really going....

Whenever I hit the freeways I am always in the fast lane, doing about 80-85....I dont weave in and out of traffic because I think only stupid ricers do that ****, if someone is going 70-75 I politely will go around if they dont see me coming and get out of my way (move *****!) there are ways to drive fast and be safe, my Z feels so solid at the speed on the highway, wide tires, big wheels, and Tein springs, it sits low and stiff, I looooooooove it.

1)go get the car dynoed
2)make sure u drive at higher RPMs up to 65 mph
3)get a thing installed in his car that cuts the gas feed when he reaches 30 mph
4)**** in his gas tank

nah, man im jk, that sucks, but 65 is fast, as a 16 year old i would love it if my dad bought me a 350Z, but i know even if he was millionaire he wouldnt, because its risky, no matter what anyone says, youre 16 and Z is too fast. i think it should be limited around 70-75 but 65 isnt that slow.

Your dad sounds like a smart person.
