Question Window freezing?

With all of the ugly weather we have been getting here in the northeast, I was wondering how well the automatic lowering and raising of the window works when you open your doors? I know in my car, sometimes I really have to pull hard to even get the door open, so I can imagine how tough it has to be on the window motor to roll the window down a half an inch or so. Have any of you had any problems with this?

i think i might garage it...
im not the most patient driver but its like a 5 minute thing for me to get the car out of the garage cuz its by a creek , on a hill and have a 2-3 inch elevation difference between inside the garage and the road(that i can never get the rear wheels to go up the bump)...

No problem, just be sure to clean any ice that may have gathered at the bottom of the window so it doesn't bind the motor more than necessary. That should allow some movement, if not totally frozen solid. I've accidentally closed the door too hard when the windows were frozen and nothing cracked. Once the inside of the car is warm, the window works fine.

Install an alarm with remote start Leave the heater on max and set to the defrost setting when you turn the car off. Turn the car on from inside your house so it warms up whiel youre getting ready. By the time u get there the engine is nice and warmed up and the ice on your windows should have melted from the heat inside the car....
