the only mod was a comptech ice box. thank god i didn't waste anymore time on that 4 banger.. lol... the only thing i will miss is the nav..... I will try to post some pics..

Guys i went to the dealership..... the 04 model production date was on 9/03

and the 03 model production date was 5/03...

so not much difference...

BUT....

i went to the dealer with the 03... some guy was moving his stuff to the Z.. it was sold to him i was 45 minutes late...... and he got the car for 21500 out the door... it was really clean.. damn bastard!!!!!! now i am on the search again....

the 04 looks pretty perfect and loved the silverstone... there were scratches here and there, no used car will be perfect. but they are willing to buff it out. driver leather seats were in mint condition. normal wear and tear. but seems like the 03 looks little cleaner. but i will go see it in person tomorrow.
But you can get pretty darn close to perfect *if* you find the right owner and the right car.

I just bought a flawless 04 Touring 6speed from a board member in Dallas. (thank you Boz)

11,700 miles - perfect condition, Nismo wheels, new tires, Clifford and no other mods. (I wanted stock condition)

It was exactly what I was looking for - color, trim, aero package, low miles, manual tranny, well kept etc. Not many of that exact type for sell but I kept looking until I found this board - and the listing by the owner. Used ebay, autotrader, local listings etc. Patience pays off.

I would keep looking - you can do better IMO.

I passed up many others to find the right one and most importantly - the right owner. I would be hard pressed to buy from a dealer due to markup, taxes, dishonesty and not knowing who the owner was unless it's something extremely exceptional.

You may also avoid a few significant problems on the first year 03 model that were addressed in the 04.

I love silverstone, you don't see too many of them on the road. The silver ones are much more common.

No not out-the-door. I cant estimate out-the-door because of variable registration fees and taxes.
