If this is indeed true, could the forum administrators help you out in finding out information about him? While privacy is a concern, if he is committing fraud I believe there should be exceptions.

That's terrible. This is why I am skeptical about buying anything from ebay or individuals. I hope you either get your money back or your parts one. He should at least let you know if there has been any delays in the shipping process. If you do get in touch with him ask him for a tracking number.

I hate seeing people get ripped off like this. What kind of lame people do we have posting on here? I'd call the AG in his area, see what they have to say.
keep calling him too, I'd try at like at 2am (buts thats just me). See how much he likes that over an extended period of time.

Just out of curiousity, how would being able to reply to a FS: thread keep you from getting ripped off? I'm not arguing, I'm just not seeing it.

Hmm....Well, I see you have a trader rating of 4 and all of them are positive. (You get where I'm going with this.... )

it works on ebay because everyone does it (because thats whay ebay is about) but on here most people do not use it making it pretty much useless. Its also hard to get started with it. I've bought tons of stuff on here from individuals and GB's and I have 2!
Like I said it looks like they changed the policy anyhow...you can now reply in classifieds and this is a good thing.

Anyway, yeah, the policy has been changed, but we're awaiting admin confirmation that it's going to stay that way or not.

It really is a system for the communal good.
