Angry Cancelled Warranty Refund Issues

I cancelled my security plus extended warranty back in August at the dealership I purchased my "Z". I was told it would take 6-8 weeks before I'd receive my refund in the mail. After about 2 months I call the dealer finance dept to check the status of my refund. Well it turns out they sent the check to my previous address. So I was referred to NNA to update my info and have them issue another check.

This is where it goes to ****. I call NNA and spoke to George in India. I gave him all the info and he advised me that he would have to initiate a "check trace" and that it would take 30days. After 30 days another check would be issued. That was Oct 12. So I waited until the end of November to call back to check the status. Of course there is nothing new to report. I've tried to reach this George guy direct several times and leave messages with my callback. Still no callback. I've called 5 times and talk to someone new everytime and they refer me back to this ******* George. Meanwhile they cant reach him either. I've requested a supervisor callback, still nothing. What the hell do I need to do to get these *******s to call me back. All I want is status on my $700 check. Has anyone else had this kind of trouble getting their refund from a extended warranty cancellation?

I appreciate any info you guys can provide to assist me with this issue. I swear I hate NNA more and more everyday. Thanks in advance.

Hey what dealership did you get it from? I got an extended warr. as well and I am curious because I know I can get a pro-rated refund and was considering getting my money back. That sucks how that a@$ h@#$ is ignoring you. good luck and keep me posted

I would also like info on cashing out the extended warranty since my soon to be put on turbo will void it anyway! Please do share...

As for George, give me his number, I will handle this...

I bought mine from Tom Peacock Nissan. I had to fill out a cancellation request with the finance dept. They prorate your warranty refund starting the day it was purchased to the day of cancellation. I assumed I'd get a full refund since my car only had 24K miles on her and was still under factory warranty. However, that's not how it works. It usually takes 6-8 weeks before you'll receive a check. My cancellation probably would have been pain-free if they had my current address on file.

As for the jerk George/NNA I've been trying to contact, his extention is 1907. Good luck reaching him. No one else with NNA seems to be able to.
