Default New Turbo Z mentioned in MotorTrend

Anybody else read this? in the section where they were talking about the NISMO Z at SEMA, the last line said something about the NISMO parts will keep people happy till the convertable and turbo Z get here. The fact that they said it so mater-of-factly and since we know the convertable is already on the way, do they know something we dont or is it just a typo?

I don't know about the validity of the turbo comment but if they do put a factory turbo on there, then an aftermarket turbo is just as easy. I would guess that the turbo would cost more and nothing that couldn't be done with aftermarket parts...

Even though the aftermarket will most likely be cheaper, flashy, and add more hp; I think overall the factory will be cleaner and more reliable. Just my thought from my previous aftermarket turbo vehicle. I have yet to own a factory built turbo car.

maybe they were just suggesting it was a possibility and untill it comes, IF it comes, theres NISMO.

one thing Ive learned in the last 2 years, you will never learn anything new from a magazine. not if you read online. which I do, and Ive never heard about a for sure turbo, convertable? Of course, known about that for a long time.

Factory setups can run lower compression (and stronger internals) and higher boost. To do that aftermarket, you have to go into the engine.
