Haha, just kidding. I finally got a 06 silver alloy today after seeing the concept 5 long years ago. The first thing I will do is take the splash guards off and get a nismo bumper.

QUESTION: When you take off the splash guards, (good call by the way) does it leave two visable holes in the wheel well? What does it look like, and if you can, will you post a close up pic of that area with them removed. Since the car is brand new I'm sure you will not have any wear marks, but I was wondering what mounting points they use at the dock, and what it would look like with them removed after they have been installed.

Thanks.

It does leave 2 holes in the front wheel wells. I just put the top screw back in and the bottom bolt screw into the bottom of the side skirt and left one of the holes empty. It really isn't visible at all, just a tiny hole. The rear bumper will have two holes in the wheel well and one under neath the bumper.

I will try to post pictures of the car this weekend but the car will look so much better with a nismo bumper, which I won't get for a month or two.

Why not just wait and get a 08 or how about a GT-R?

I have heard that Nissan is working on some for the Z. I don't know what is but I heard it will be worth the wait. Too bad I already have an 04.

lol. I first saw this thread when it was posted 2 days ago and i was like "i'm not even wasting my time by clicking that one". But today i saw it again and just had to see if the threat got any dumber. Made for a good chuckle thats for sure.
The Z's look much better with the splash guards off IMO. I debated over it for awhile when i purchased my new 06 as well. And after comparing pics i chose not to get any.
