Whats with all these wrecked Z's lately!
I was thinking the same thing peoples dying and wrecking left and right! Some of it I think is some aren't wise and mature enough to be owning this car. RWD is a whole different level of driving compared to FWD and 4WD. I believe everybody who own this car should go to an AUTO-X a few times and see how this car handles. I can admit doing a few AUTO-X's myself I learn alot compared to daily driving. You can really learn how this car behaves in situations that aren't presented on regular street driving. Also they are able to build the experience and if the situation presented itself, they would be able to handle it to the best of their abilites. That's just my take on things.
Kids with their new cars and their first taste of snow/ice with a rear wheel drive car?
Mostly people who slept through physics class. Newton's laws of motion and the law of gravity effect even people that don't understand them.
Having kissed a steering wheel at 45 miles an hour back before airbags were invented I do not want to go through that pain and hassle again. Court suxs. Dental work sux. The bills sux. A bent frame sux.

lol...
people need to go slower thats all
speed kills
WOT is great... corning hard is great...
but what arent great are uncontrolable environment, people around u, incompetence, inexperience, driving concentration, weather, road, other eternal factors...
The stock tires are not the greatest...
I admit going slow when I feel not comfortable who cares if im passed by a fwd mini van when there is snow on the ground? They'll have the last laugh if your Z which just passed their van ends up in a ditch or into a bush 2 miles ahead...
So in turn i say... becareful... take caution ...

i am furious when I see girl on a cell phone, putting her makeup or looking for stuff in her bag.
guys are not any better. most of them (specially in trucks) drive all year long like it is summer time.

I’ve been taking regular evening drives (temperature approximately 34 degrees), and cold pavement is difficult for traction. When cornering, the tires grip well. Straight line acceleration is terrible. Its way too easy to spin the tires in second and third gears. I just leave TCS ON, and take it easy with the throttle.

Very well said, and so true. Too often you'll seen a truck/car go speeeding past you in the snow and a few km's up the road there he is in the ditch

I'm just lucky to be alive man. As much as I loved my car it can be replaced.

for me it was a tractor Trailer loosing its drive shaft...
I was in with 9 Other cars and 2 Police Cars.. Needless to say the Truck driver was cited at fault..
With a car like that, it can be tempting to pull something off. But sometimes you just have to be smart about it. Bad weather=slow, traffic area=slow, residence=slow. Even highway when there is no traffic is not a very good idea at times because of cops. Take it to the track when you get a need for speed. It's as simple as that. Enjoy the acceleration but keep it within the speed range.
