Sorry I can't help myself. But, in your 80 hour weeks where do you find the time to post 2,614 times in the past 4 months or so. You must not sleep....

Okay, so I'm glad we have all come to the same conclusion about him and it wasn't just me. I'll drop it now.

for a young kid like me... its fine... but if ur 30-40 and drive a Z... i dont know... get a damn 911 and go get ur mid-life crisis...
I test drove the Carerra, the Boxster (the Caymen was still just a blueprint), the Audi TT, and looked a bunch of others including the BWM's, Corvettes ... and I actually bought the Z because I liked it over the more expensive models. My budget was $2500 a month so the Z made that with ease, it looks better, handles better, and fits me and my style of driving best. Some people can actually like the Z even if it is just an "ENTRY level sports coupe" (no really!), just because something costs more money doesn't mean it's better ... a lesson I learned when I was about 14.

And that is what we call "***** RICH" gentlemen. I can see it now. He buys his 911 Porsche but lives in shack with no furniture.

I am 25 and hope I never spend 100k on a car (ie 911), if I do, call me an idiot

Heh, there was a comedian who once said stupid people should be required to put "I'm Stupid" on their forehead so other people would know immediately what their dealing with! I think that's an awesome idea!

Whatever...

Z ownership is not a unifying force. I don't wave to talk to other Z owners just because they have a Z. Keep in mind the number of people with Z and the law of averages. There are a lot of dicks in the world so you are bound to encounter some unpleasant owners. Life goes on, people.

sure it wasn't you in ran into vanquish? hahaha. this is kind of the point of my post. someone can take a complete stranger and profile them and form an opinion about them and feel they are better and treat them differently. everything i own i got by my own 2 hands and have been working full time since i was 15. i'm 32 now, and a few months this year cleared 35k for those months after all costs. again my point being, the guy i ran into was wearing a suit and seemed to look down on me because i was wearing grubby clothes. being atleast courteous and respectful to people is always in everyones best interest.
btw- vanquish you are a tool!! wait till you get out of school and realize the real world, things like downsizing and market changes. you might be going to school for a good job now, but you can get laid off or fired from any job at anytime and find yourself broke. your parents may co-sign or give you down payments for good grades, but in the real world, you quickly figure out nobody gives a sh it if you succeed or not!!

Some people suck. Only a few in the Z crowd (I hope). Most of the people here are pretty cool. If you were to see me, I'd probably have done the same thing and talked to you about your z. As for the porsche thing. I personally don't like the porsche's styling as much as the Z. The only one I like that's a porsche is the new Carrera GT. It's something about the Z that screams tuner car. I guess I like the idea of taking a car and making it into something people don't think it is. Just my perspective. But if I could get a Ferrari, that's a different story. Working my way on up there. Yes, I'm in college and have a Z. Jvanquish and me have a lot in common except that I think he is just starting out. I'm about to finish soon. Keep up the hard work Jvanquish, it finally pays off. The Z is a perfect example.
