Yeah, no kidding. I guess I gotta wait even longer than I thought.

Mine's just over a month (see sig) and I've been looking in the mail everyday. I guess I'll stop....

Are you just getting/keeping normal plates? I ordered personalized ones but I haven't gotten any notice from the DMV that those are ready either.

Default Plates finally:

Because we are so fortunate to live in Ca. along with millions of other fortunate people, my plates took 3 months almost to the day. Picked up car Sept.21. Plates came Dec.19. Good Luck, I hope you get yours in a more timely manner.

4 months and counting for me. :P
Although I did finally get my registration in the mail last friday, so I'm hoping plates are coming soon.

Consider yourselves lucky! It just makes it seem like you have a new car for a longer time! I got mine in maybe 6 weeks.

Maybe California's deficit is so big (35 billion!) that we can't afford to keep making them? Kentucky released 500 prisoners just to pay a .5 billion dollar dept. So we'd have to release 35,000, and then there aren't enough to make all the plates! :/

Little over a month for me and I just got my registration in the mail with my plate number on it. Does anybody knows if this means the plates should be coming soon?

You mean DEFICIENCY (SP)...

Well, I called the dealership to investigate... And apparently the DMV and sent back the paperwork to the dealership because the VIN number supplied was illegible. So a guy from my dealership went to the DMV and got the plates for me yesterday. YAY!!!

I opted for random numbers instead of vanity plates because I didn't want haters to remember me after I TORCH them in a race or cause their girlfriend is blowing me kisses... heh.

I was praying for at least 1 "Z" in the plate... but ended up getting 2! I'm pretty happy.

The longer the better I say. Means I can have no front plate and not get a ticket.

speaking of plates......it's not a problem to remove the front license plate frame, is it? The dealer put his tag in it, and I havent takent the time to try and remove it yet.

Do a search and ye shall find the answer...

Sorry, I am not like VQracer and will not do the search for you.

I believe you are a grown adult and can do it yourself.

Delivery on 11/5, and i just got the plates yesterday (1/7).

Funny; didn't order personal ones, but the first 4 characters are as follows:

"7AEM"

I think i'm gonna take my time installing the rear one. I hear it's a time consuming task for the DIY'er.

this is weird, i picked up my car on 9/8, and the dealer already got my plate. although they had my car since 9/6. they wouldn't give me the car because of missing "papers".
