+10000, I'm always pulling that joke out. I'll point and laugh at people with the famous high pitch "ha ha" voice. Nobody gets it.

FORGET ABOUT IT. parking the G for the winter, got stuck in the snow twice in one day it took me 45min to get out the first time and 30min the second time. tires just spun no traction. all I can say I was happy to be home and parked her in the garage. but before I did I just had to have a little fun in the parking lot (empty of course) spun her twice. got home and drove the pathfinder and all I can say is its like night and day. can't wait until SPRING.

I am currently using the Avon M550 A/S and I have very little difficulty driving in the snow (even when the roads are not plowed). It feels more secure than my old FWD integra on A/S tires.

AAAH!! I had to drive my car yesterday to the drive in to get the pictures taken after they vandalized my car last Monday night. Took about thirty minutes to get out of the driveway. I had went ahead in a truck in the directions to the drive in to see the best route available to quickly and safely to the drive in which was like 20 minutes away. Everything went well until I got to the drive in, small street, not as plowed, not as traveled, had slushy snow. I got stuck right in front of the drive in. The appraiser came out appraised it, and luckily helped me push the car out to the street and I drove it home.

Drove it home in 2" packed snow. It is fine on flat pavement but some of the hills here in cincinnati suck. Other than that the snow tires make it completly different. I saw another Z with the potenzas that couldnt get any traction on an slight incline.

I guess a lot of folks missed the point of the poster's original question, daily Z in the snow.
Don't listen to the folks that tells ya to keep the Z in the garage because it sucks in the snow. Chances are they've had a bad experience with STOCK tires.
Get a winter set up, 4 snow/winter tires, use caution and you'll be fine.
I've got Dunlop M3s on the Z and they perform a LOT better than my Maxima w/ all season tires.

I'm in MA and still got the stock Potenzas on there. Fun when no one is around, but real good drivin practice when you get into traffic. As far as hills . . . lol . . . Would have rather rode a pedal bike to work.

With my new Dunlop all seasons that I got for free from my buddy at the lexus dealership I'm getting around fine. Much better than the bad memories of trying to drive it last year with bald ****enzas, .
