Blue - I remember you... you used to sell sticker kits for the 7th gen celicas on newcelica.org. I was a former 01 celica GT owner, regular on newcelica.org and celica.net. Hope you get a Z soon, and move on... once you drive a Z, that celica will be a distant memory.

Thanks for the welcome. Nice to see a few familiar faces too. Yes, I still sell the Overlays for the 7th gen Celica, plus a few of the other gens as well. Done some stuff for the RSX and lookin' at doin' some for some newer cars as well. My Link below will take you to my Overlays.

yup, I've decided Not to do any performance mods on the Celica. Not worth it, plus there isn't much for it out there anyhow. Even with a Turbocharger, it ain't nothing compared to the Z .

Thanks, me too. How are prices up in the LA area? Anyone selling at or below MSRP up there?

Welcome to the forum.

I'm an ex 00 Celica GTS owner. She was a good girl... but I didn't regret a second.

Cool Welcome to Z-Land!

Yeah, I remember you from newcelica.org (I'm celica00). I had a Y2K Super White GT-S 6-spd before moving to a Pikes Peak White Enthusiast 6-spd... With an RSX-S in-between.

If I recall, your Spectra Blue Mica GT-S (?) was pretty trick.

As much as I respect the Celica and RSX, there's nothing like driving a VQ w/ RWD.

Good luck with the Z.

Hehe. It's great seeing all these familiar faces on this board. I'll be joining you guys soon, hopefully. Ya, I guess you can say my Celica is tricked out. It's a GT, not a GTS, for some reason people always think my ride is a GTS. Must "Look Fast"

For those who've never seen my current ride, here it is.

Wow! Nice car!

Why do you want to get a Z?

What's the difference between a GTS and a GT? Sorry, I don't really know much about Toyotas/Celicas. All I know is that the Celica did the fastest time at PIKE PEAK

hehe, keep it up and I'll end up keeping the Celica and not get a Z. The GT is 140hp, GTS is 180hp. Performance mods for the Celica are very limited. We always seemed to get screwed in that dept. Aftermarket companies are always quick to jump on the Honda bandwagon and everyone else. They still don't have a real Supercharger out for our car as of yet, and this model is in it's 4th year run. Now, the Z will add 140hp to what I already have, something a Supercharger can't do. Get my point?

Default Flag Me Down

If you see me driving home again, flag me down, and I'll give ya test drive, that should put an end to any lingering emotions you harbor for the Celica. Not that the Celica is a bad car, but the driving Z is most fun I've ever had driving.
I must say the exterior work you had done is very nice, that's the first Celica I've seen come out looking aggresive without looking ricer.
