Thumbs up Motor Oil

The previous owner of my car used AMSOIL series 2000 synthetic 0w-30 Motor Oil. The car is due for an oil change in 500 miles. I will be continuing use with AMSOIL. The oil is still super clean (2,500 miles on it) and full. Anyone else on the boards use this oil?

Check out the link

the scar wear graph is of intrest.

Just got an oil change at performance nissan on friday and ended up with the semi-synthetic for $30. I would of gone with synthetic, but the $50+ seems a bit steep to me. I figure if I get the oil changed every 3500, then the semi-synthetic will be fine. As opposed to every ~5000 miles with the synthetic.

If I changed my own oil though, I would of gone with synthetic.

What year manual? My 2003 didn't say that.

I'm a big believer in synthetic from day one. I've had several vehicles that shipped from the factory with it in the motors and none have used oil and all have done great.
