Here's what you do... Park your Z in the same location where it was robbed.... Hide in a dark spot.. and then maybe, justttt maybee, the retards will re-attempt the $20,000 Heist !!!!

Try to make yourself less of a target.

Get a high end security system with a bright LED that is plainly visible (mine is a blue LED installed on the center console coin recess).

Next, never leave anything exposed unless you have to. We have a large storage area behind the passenger seat that is perfect for this.

Invest in a DVD/DC burner for your PC, and only carry burned media in your car.

Always remove the face from your deck and take it with you, or at least hide it in the car somewhere.

If you have subwoofers and amps, get some very dark tint on the rear window and make it inconspicuous from the front.

Always park in a well lighted area and away from other vehicles (especially trucks and SUV's.

And lastly, ALWAYS turn your sound system down before you pull into a parking lot or anywhere your car will be left unattended. The last thing you want to do is advertise "HEY EVERYONE I HAVE A $10000 SOUND SYSTEM" when you arrive somewhere.

thanks, yeah i agree with the fact that people will do anything for a buck. It just never hits you until it has actually happened and you have suffered from a loss... sorry to hear about the loss

DNA will also only work if they have a previous record. They dont keep ALL of our DNA information he has to have a past record with DNA to id him. If you catch him, you probably wont need DNA to convict him. But yea, my parents own gas staions and they get broken into and robbed occasionally police dont do ****. THis isnt like CSI like the cop says...in CSI the cops actually care about the victims, too bad cops in RL dont (most of the time)

Some German a$$ once broke the front window of my Audi A6 TD to steal a pair of 3$ sun glasses I left lying around on the dash. Guess how much the window replacement cost me...

Another time, in Belgium, in front of my door, a thief on a bike broke the side window of my Volvo V70 TD to steal my sh!tty Nokia cell phone that was charging in the car. I suppose I should consider myself lucky since I had my brand new phone still in the box on my passenger seat and I only got a warning for firing a shotgun on a public road (by the time I got out of the door, the guy was too far away to hit. I'm sure he will reconsider twice before pulling a stunt like that again. I wish I could have gone after him, but my seat was full of glass.)

Sorry man, that sucks. I work at a lab and thought I'd let you know that showing up with the blood stained glass prob. made the cops laugh because, you couldn't prove where it came from? To be registered as evidence, the cops or detectives have to obtain the material at an untainted crime scene. Also, the cost of testing and court fees would be more than the cost of the items that were taken. Also, most cops are a**holes.
