Fast And Furious III with 350Z
dont be so negative about this movie. if the rumors are true and many 350zs are featured, resale will go up. look at what happened with the supras and gtrs. if the movie does well, it will only mean goods things for the z/g crew!
WORD, YOU know that when the movie ends and and your driving away in a Z , people are gonna be sweating you lol...............just like if you left the last movie in a evo or a skyline (rare ) lol

wrooooooooong.... ya those cars are good for drifiting ONLY, and just ONLY after they mod the sh** out of the chassis suspension etc. BTW, there was an article on an old motor-trend i believe or one of those explaining how they had to mod the GTO in order to make it a drifting car since the car in stock form was almost impossible to drift.
Just my 2 cents

we dont get that certain model in the states, and yet, its still heavy as the GTO in the US (although agile for its size) its not a drift capable car that can actually compete with the rest without any mod. The stock suspension is far from what drifters demand.
I could be wrong, but isnt the suspension in the US diff from the one in Australia and the UK?
Once again, we dont get that model in the US

so what are the differences between the model used and top gear and the one sold in the US? I'm just curious...
also when you say its not a capable drift car that can compete against "the rest", who exactly are "the rest"?

the attributes most of the cars used for drifting (thats what i mean as the rest). Do some research, i believe the version in australia does infact have more handling ability. If not, then motor trend or that magazine i read was full of it?

Forgot to mention that even though the mustang is a heavy car but works well for drifting after mods, it does not come close to the weight the GTO carries (3800lbs i think).

reply. that being said... did you even read my post. go back and reread it
and you will see that i specifically said "when done just right" and "driven
to the limit". you obviously missed the critical point i was underlying which
was specifically about drifting... who said anything otherwise ??
the point is that many cars can be made to drift well if you are willing to
do the neccessary mods. some cars will require less prep, but a Stang or
a GTO can be made to drift with the best of them. that's simple fact if u
have ever seen Gushi or Stillen drift them in FormulaD, etc.

The supra's and gt-r's did see a rise in their relative worth after the first movie, but this is all relative to their exclusivity and rarity in the market...simply put...the demand for those cars quickly outweighed the supply by a great number...if the demand for Z's increases, it will in no imaginable way outpace the supply of Z's....because if Ghosn sees a demand influx he will certainly pump more off of the assembly lines....for example do you see Honda Civic's going for nearly double their NADA value b/c of the movie? NO. So this movie will only serve to further the stupidity of young and old drivers alike and create another influx of riced out under engineered "tuner" cars...
