8-5-02 joined my350z.com (the best online community for the Z car!)
8-23-02 saw a 350z in person for the first time (thanks to a post from one of y’all)
8-24-02 placed a $1000 deposit on a 350z and the wait begins
8-25-02 placed ad in the paper to sell my BMW convertible
10-1-02 Hual Europe ran aground
10-13-02 Z Tour arrives in Atlanta
11-01-02 got the call from my dealer that my car may be in the 2nd week of Nov.
11-14-02 no car, no VIN, no delivery date
11-26-02 received the my VIN number and delivery date of Dec 10
11-26-02 Hual Europe erupts in flames
11-28-02 spent Thanksgiving with folks in Washington State
12-7-02 watched the Georgia Bulldog win the SEC championship
12-10-02 Deliver date!! Dude, where’s my car?!
12-12-02 dealer tells me that my car is stuck on a boat… could it be the Hual Europe?
12-13-02 dealer tells me that my car was not on the Hual Europe
12-19-02 LOTR Two Towers premiere (that also was a long wait)
12-25-02 went snowboarding at Lake Tahoe
12-28-02 dealer tells me that the new ETA is the first week on Jan.
12-30-02 finally sold my BMW convertible
12-31-02 celebrated brining in the New Year in New Orleans on Bourbon Street
1-1-03 watched the Georgia Bulldogs win the Sugar Bowl
1-2-02 Miami falls to Ohio State
1-4-02 end of the first week on Jan and still no car
1-5-02 dealer tells me to that my car is due on the 15th (Ya right)
1-5-02 started to call other dealerships
1-6-02 my car shows up on Nissan dealer inventory, but the car is not at the dealership
1-8-02 My 350z finally arrives

I LOVE THIS CAR!!!! IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT AND HASSEL!

There was 5 miles on it when I drove it off the dealership. That same day I put 320 miles on it. It rides like a dream. No problem shifting, the ride is not bumpy, no orange peel, no window streaks, no problems pumping gas, no discoloration that I could tell. I ordered a CS Performance with floor mats at MSRP. Best $30K+ I’ve ever spent.

Im still trying to figure out who has the lighter silver colored Z on or near 316, Ive seen him pulling onto 316 twice now.

then of course theres the dark silver Z I parked nose to nose with in a publix shopping center.

atlanta is a hotbed of Z's it would seem.
