and im sorry if there are many threads about this, i didnt look.
if you want an auto, buy something else. If you want a sports car, there is only one type of transmission you should be considering, and it doesnt have a torque converter.

drag racing is the end all reason to get an auto in your car. Should have bought a g35.

If you AT guys enjoy the car, then that's all that matters. Just because manual transmission guys such as myself consider the car more fun to drive doesn't mean you have to go looking for a race or go suggest we fly a plane instead.

And if you want to get personal, please let us take a look-see at your car.

I drove a BMW with something like 400 HP, and it blew away the Z, but it was not more fun to drive than a Hyundai Sonata.

Heck Cessna - I figured this is good for few more posts to your post count.
Right? So why are you so upset? Running out of things to talk about on the topic? I think not, you always have something interesting to say.

My G has shown me how far AT's have come in the last few years... Yes, I'd rather play with an MT, but I truly think that the AT is almost just as good as a MT........
Its a case of personal choice......
AT isnt better than MT and vice versa......
Why this discussion (again) I dont know......
Cessna
PS. Go to your local flying school and ask to go on a introduction flight lesson!!!!
Its an expensive hobby though, I guess that’s why I haven’t taken lessons. At the very least I may have to pick up a RC nitro plane sometime. I know its not as fun, but it’s a lot cheaper!! Hehe

The Airforce would've been cool, except for the pay.

its your own personal taste. you will be driving this CAR - so be sure that you are happy with your choice.

If its the daily driver, and you're gonna spend more than 10-15 minutes per day in bumper to bumper - go with the AT. Thats why they offered it. I guess I'd rather have a quick gelding, than a stallion and a bunion
