for everyday driving i kinda like auto better, plus i dont think i would race the z much.

but then again i dont think i could buy a car like the z with a auto!...lol

but like i said this would be my everyday car and i still dont know if i would love to deal with shifting all the time...

and im sorry if there are many threads about this, i didnt look.

manual > auto

I drove a friends auto the other day and couldn't do it. I didn't feel like I had control over the car.

depends on what you prefer for your everyday driving... if theres a lot of hills and stop and go traffic, then maybe you should consider an auto. if you want to have fun, never be too bored, and have better control of your car, get a manual. i got a manual because i like to have fun in a sports car and have control of my car. granted i run into a few hills here and there but its not enough to make me consider an automatic. its really up to you. test drive both in similar conditions and see which one you like better. but im with most of the people on this thread and say manual =)

Sorry I was laughin' so hard that I forgot the point of the post... oh yeah MT.....AAAAHHHHH Duh. An automatic mated to the Z engine is like castrating a prize winning race horse. No offense to those with only one leg and no option.
