Track vs Performance
I am ready to order my car and am trying to decide between the 2 models. The only obvious diffs I can see are the Brembo brakes and the lightweight wheels. The price difference with exactly the same options nav system, mats and airbags is about $3000. I can't believe the wheels and brakes can account for the differences what other differences am I missing? Please enlighten the ignorant here.

If you're going to the track, you need the Track
But if you're not racing, running Driver's Ed events, or autocrosses, the only reason to get the Track is because you like the look of the Rays wheels and/or the gold Brembo calipers more than having $3,000 in your pocket. You definitely do NOT need better brakes (stock or aftermarket) for ordinary street use.
But if you are doing any of the above events, you definitely DO need better brakes, because the stock ones fade quickly with heavy track use.
And if, like me, you're only going to do a few track events a year but no serious competition, the Track package is a great deal compared to going aftermarket, as others have spelled out.
BTW, I checked with my dealership, and the retail dealer price for the Rays 18" wheels is $1,500. EACH!!! Yes, $1,500 each!!! So I don't expect many upgraders will choose that option.

yeah rims from NISSAN are super duper expensive, TE37s made by rays/volk with a 6 spoke design, forged rims, very light(maybe lighter than track rims, not sure) are around 600$ for the same size.
as for brakes I think MSRP on the stoptechs was 3000, not sure, otherwise it was fronts only that were 2000.
