At least it wasn't a refrigerator!

Get the full nismo bumper
It looks hawter.
Btw its supposed to shread like that, its made of plastic so if u hit something going slow, itll just bend and go back to original shape. If ur going that fast and hti a tire (13.6 kg tire (30lbs) at 80.64km/hr (60mph) thats 548joules of)energy. enough energy to increase 1/2 liter of water 1 degree celcius :-D
Idk why i just calculated that, but thats that..

Just buy a used one. They often come up on this forum. Could probably save you $150 to $250 just on the bumper alone. If you are lucky, it might just be the same color and you wouldn't have to paint it.

It's not just the bumper. Does no one realize that the fender is off by a bit now too? Look at the fender lining up to the lights. If you just buy a bumper on your own, and find out that the fender needs reshaping, then you just lost yourself that money from the bumper that you paid for. I would just go through insurance.
Seriously, people need to pay more attention before giving advice to damaged vehicle owners. This is something serious.

Wow, did the same thing myself a year ago. Welcome to the club. It's fun to repeat myself when someone falls into the same trap. Those big rig monster tire retreads should totally be against the law as they can cause accidents and destroy cars. My damage was close to 3 grand, destroyed front bumper, radiator, bumper support, ect ect... talk about rediculous. And it gets listed on your own insurance as driver error *accident* and your rates WILL go up when you report it. There's a catch, if you say it just flew off the damn truck adn it was in mid-air when it hit you, then its "flying debree" and you won't get blamed... so don't make the same mistake as me and say you just drove into it *because I really couldn't lane change, busy/occupied lanes on my left and right.
