my car is at the dealer again because the check engine light is on for the second time. i just got a call from the dealer saying that they are going to replace my ECU. is there any potential problems i can face in getting a new ECU? or any advantages? or do you think it will be the same? i have an 06 enth 6 speed.

Most likely will be the same.

Seriously, a new ECU will be transparent. It will have all the updates that the dealer would upload into your old ECU. Don't worry, be happy.

Changing the ECU is like having a brain transplant, if the car rejects its new brain, you will notice because it will have seizures and go crazy and then die. If it doesn't do that, then is fine
