I just got done installing the B&M short Shifter and i am unable to go into reverse with it. In the installation manual it said to file down some of the top left side inside the housing. I did that but i am still unable to get into reverses. Can someone help me with this as soon as possible. I really dont feel like putting it back to the stock shifter.

short shifters cause problems period. my honda friends went thru trannys because of short shifters. put the stock back in its short enough dont start cutting away at your car.

 

Don't put back your stock shifter...Call performance Nissan in Duarte, Ca. They installed my B&M Short shifter when they first came out. Not a single problem.

I got it installed and i am able to get it into Reverse. I do however have to work it in there. Does anyone know of a good person in Virginia that will do performance installs.
