FYI that damage looks almost exactly the same as what happened to mine last June. It ended up being around 8k to fix, so it shouldn't be a total.
Good luck, and I hope you find a better bodyshop than I did. The invalids working there took over 3 months to get my car repaired.

Did your door deform? I just ask because as I said the door never got hit but from either the front fender (i doubt it) or from the rear pushing on it it’s now wavy and doesn’t close. This is the reason why it might be totaled.

Ok just heard from the body shop and the total cost would be 16.5k I read on line that insurance companies total a car when the repair cost is at 50% to 80% of the market value. 16.5k is about 66% so im wondering if its enough to total or are they gonna fix her? Any one have experience with a totaled car? What % were you at?
