none of them stand a chance. however, bolt ons and any type S can compete w a bolt on Z.

Don't worry about the Type-S. Just keep an eye open for the Type-M Toyota. Very rare but fast as greased lightning.

type S?? haha no... the only way he can stand a chance is if you start off in third gear or something.

The RSX-S can be pretty fast when modded right, it is fairly light on its feet after all. But stock for stock I don't think it has much of a chance.

after I/H/E/Hondata, it could edge out a Z/S2000 (stock of course). If you're a decent or better driver, going against a stock type-s, no need to worry that much.

+1, don't underestimate the type-s with full bolt ons, hondata and a decent driver.

I edged out a z in my rsx with the i/h/e/hondata kpro setup from a roll. 9k redline is crazy. That car had no torque however and wasnt fun to drive around town. Thats why i drive a z now.

+1 Someone local had those mods and ran a 14.1.

I was actually going to run a Type-S with bolt-ons and a kpro from a roll but his tranny crapped out on him before we got to 45 where we decided to run from.

There was a vid of an mod. RSX-S w/ bolt-on's, honda data 4 chip on here that was posted probably close to a year ago. It went up against a stock SRT-4, a mod. SRT-4 w/ T3-T4 turbo upgrade, mod. S2000, G35 and a 350Z w/ just a popcharger. The RSX-S beat all the cars except the 350Z. Judging from the Vid the RSX-S vs Z was pretty close til higher speeds. Then the Z would dominate around 110 pulling hard!

all of what yall say is probably true and i have heard it before, bolt on and chipped rsx is quick for a honda, it is suppose to surpass the s2k, but did you also know the RSX type S is lighter than the s2000, hah betcha didnt know that one..only by a few pounds

My predictions of this topic is it can be close in a 1/4 but after that the Z will dominate hands down! I found the old post of this race but the Vid is dead. I'll do some research when I get off work because I think it exist either on streetfire or on putfile. Here's two different topics post discussing this race but both pertains to the same Z driver off of this forum by the name of Hammad.

I was actually thinking about buying an rsx type s. But the 350 is so much of a nicer car.

From a roll, I have raced my friends 05 type-s. stock for stock. Beat him by 2 car lengths up to 60-70mph.
