I think the STi and EVO look okay, but the biggest problem is that they are 4dr sedans, I'm currently driving a 330 and I can't tell you how much it pisses me off to see all that space back there prepared for "other people".

Plenty of cars at that price more worthy of the money. What is wrong with the EVO or STI? You don't like them......so what? It didn't hurt their sales too bad that you don't like them. I personally agree with you about the looks of the car but the value is definately there. Did you know a full exhaust
(up pipe, down pipe, flex pipe, catback) and a reflash makes near 125hp on an STI or EVO? Did you know that there is now way to get 125hp more out of a Z without going FI or N2O? Yes, the Z looks better (to you and me) but some people feel the opposite way. You want used for that price? How about a 02 M3 that would blow the doors off the Z? Want a V8 rumble? Try an 02 Z06. Willing to go a little older as long as it's well maintained? Try a Viper or NSX. Want to stay semi new with all the class in the world? Try a 996 Porsche. There are just way too many choices out there. We are both lucky and unlucky to be able to buy cars in this day and age. There are way too many choices near $32-35K for it to "have" to go one way.

the evo and the sti are none NA cars, so naturally replacing the piping will greatly influence more hp gain compared to the NA 350z. That is one major reason why I like the 3530z. Is that the car has 300hp NA.

Cost should not be a factor, you either want LSD or you don't.

i have a base model and the first upgrade i did was the nismo lsd intalled at performance motorsports in long island, ny and the difference is night and day. I feel more secure driving the car because of the additional traction. The only real complaint i have is that it makes that annoying popping noises and it skids out sometimes when im taking a turn at 5mph. but b4 the lsd i experienced my first encounter with snow of only .5 inches. it was one of my scariest experiences in the z, from a stop pressing on the gas would make my car go sideways immedietly. no matter how slow i tried to go the car would start to spin, it was hell. it took me about 40min to get home and i was only 5-10 min away. the reason for this is that only one tire is spinning while the other just sits there. actually to correct myself my first mod was blizzak snow tires. the best thing i ever invested in. then a few week later i bought the nismo lsd made the car even better. the good thing about an aftermarket lsd is that you gain a tremendous amount of control whether its bad whether or during the best whether.

Bottom line, upgrade to good tires for both snow and summer and you will notice the difference immedietly. do a search on tires. When you have enough money for the lsd i highly recommend getting one.

this is only my opinion, any one agree?

I think I might end up with an Enthusiast, still waiting for more quotes from dealers. It seems like the biggest problem is that none of them have any in manual and daytona blue, I'll end up upgrading head unit and speakers, might get some racing seats as well so touring is pointless. But I think LSD is worth it, don't know don't know. Anybody wanna take over the lease on an 06 330 manual? LOL ..... found out that leasing a bimmer is the last thing I want to be doing at this point in life right now ........ TELL YOUR FRIENDS! OK that took courage to say please cut me some slack if you find it offensive.

I think you guys are hyping up this traction control a lil much. I'm new tot he Z world, but every other car I';ve had with traction control simply meant power was cut to the wheels if they started slipping. There is no physical benefit to this over driving cautiously. The lsd will diff help you with wheel spin, but this is more performance oriented and not something thats a real benefit in bad weather. BAD WEATHER = DRIVE SLOWER

Ya know, a tiny bit of slip additive will fix that problem... Just add 1/4tsp at a time until the annoyance is gone - you don't have to add the whole bottle.
