Default TCS or VDC? Difference?

Just wondering what the difference is between TCS and VDC. My enthusiast has TCS, but not so sure what the MECHANICAL difference is between these two systems, if any. Thanks for input

............I tried "Seaching" as you put it, but didn't find the thread you found regarding mechanical differences. Thanks

"Sarcasm" is an overrated action.

Quick answer:

TCS - Traction control - cuts power from the engine when wheel slip is detected - The infamous 1st to 2nd gear "bog".

VDC - Vehicle Dynamic Control - monitors acceleration/deceleration and yaw rates along with wheel slip. Using the brakes (individually if needed) attempts to keep the car on its intended course. Sounds like clicking from the wheels during high G cornering.

Note: these will work together thus you might get both braking and power cuts at the same time (assuming you have both systems).

OK guys, is this right?

And, correct me if I'm wrong. You keep some power on to make it all work. Right?
