this is dumb, you don't need to do this with modern trannys. It does not give you any advantage.
... I think you are thinking about Double Clutching... which..Cars haven't needed double clutching since the synchromesh transmission was popularized 50 years ago. I most definatly assure you that heel toe shifting WILL reward you with faster lap times, etc.
hell toe is mostly for track driving, it wont be that helpful in DDing........
perhaps during the get-away chase but I'll have to try it out... I have a feeling my shoes/feet are too big and it'll be super clunky for me to do without getting my shoe cought either on the plastic underside/dash or the carpet at the end by the gas pedal.
Heel toe is an everyday thing...it's almost like second nature now...brake/clutch, blip accelerator while foot on brake, release clutch/brake, accelerate...simple!
If anyone has ever watched that video file with the 350z, s2000, skyline, BMW and Porsche race, they have cameras fixed on the drivers' feet and they are all using this method.

OK, so you got the right foot on the brake with the clutch in and you use the heel of your right foot to hit the gas enought to bring the tach back up to where it was when you depressed the clutch and then you shift and let off the clutch? Is this correct? Seems like a pain in the ***. Or am I not getting it? That could very well be the case.
